No two cables we produce are the same. Each one we design and manufacture has its own specifications and properties. Here you will find the cable jacket materials we use, covering many of the main cable extrusion compounds we stock and use regularly.
While we have included a brief overview of our base stock portfolio below, the range we utilise is quite broad, and certainly isn’t limited to the selection below:
- Low smoke zero halogens – LSZH, LS0H, LSF
- Nylon Polymides – PA6, PA12.
- Polyethylenes – PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE
- Polypropylenes – PP, PPHP, PPCP, PPRCP
- Polyvinyl Chlorides – PVC, SR-PVC, HR-PVC
- Polyvinylidene Fluoride – PVDF
- Thermoplastic Elastomers – Hytrel, TPE
- Thermoplastic Polyurethanes – PUR, TPU, PU
- Thermoplastic Vulcanisate – TPV
- Cross Linked Polyolefins – XLPE, XLPO
We stock a large range of cable jacket materials, and can also source alternative grades of these materials to suit a specific applications where particular resistance to environmental factors will be required, such as oils, pests, microbials, etc. We can also offer a range of additives from cross-linking (XL) agents, to anti-static resistance and UV stabilisers if required.
There’s also a wide variety of masterbatch colours from stock, and we have access to an efficient colour-matching service if you require something more bespoke.
