In this section, you will find the datasheets covering some of the main cable extrusion compounds/materials that we stock and run regularly for our customers at Custom Designed Cables Ltd. The range is quite broad but is not limited to the products highlighted below. We are also open too and keen to explore new material prototyping trials which we have conducted on numerous occasions previously.
Here is a brief overview of our base stock portfolio:
- Low smoke zero halogen’s – LSZH, LS0H, LSF
- Nylon Polymide’s – PA6, PA12.
- Polyethylene’s – PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE
- Polypropylene’s – PP, PPHP, PPCP, PPRCP
- Polyvinyl Chloride’s – PVC, SR-PVC, HR-PVC
- Polyvinylidene Fluoride – PVDF
- Thermoplastic Elastomer’s – Hytrel, TPE
- Thermoplastic Polyurethane’s – PUR, TPU, PU
- Thermoplastic Vulcanisate – TPV
- Cross Linked Polyolefins – XLPE, XLPO
Whilst we stock quite a large range of materials, we can also source alternative grades of these materials to suit a specific application where particular resistance to environmental factors are required for example oils, fluids, microbial, pests etc.
We stock a range of additives from cross-linking (XL) agents to anti-static resistance to UV stabilisers if required.
We offer a wide variety of masterbatch colours from stock and have direct access to an efficient colour matching service when required for the final cable jacket colour or bedding layers.
